Latest reviews of Rapid Russian Volume 1 app for iPhone and iPad

simply terrible
The idea sounded good: learning Russian words and sentences a musical background. But: - the music is repetitive, you can as well have some quiet classical music playing while listening to any Russian course. - words and sentences are very, very basic. You can order a coffee with milk but not a coffee without sugar. - the roman characters are printed darker and bigger than the cyrillic caracters. Little chance of learning to recognize the Russian word the way it is written! Who wants to read douhbroeh utrah or paah shgou sstah or something similar? Im ll just delete this App, too bad.
Got Russian dancing in my head
I sampled several methods for picking up a little Russian for an upcoming trip. Found it slow going until I found Earworms. Their methodology really works for me. I find myself walking around the house humming little Russian phrases. When I test my recall by reviewing the phrases in English, the Russian translation pops into my head easily. And I think my pronunciation is improving with repeat listening. Im confidant that Ill be able to handle at least the most basic situations in Russian during my trip. Kudos to you folk at Earwoms. Great job!
